Nigeria calls up 30 players for Rio Olympics football camp

Nigeria's football governing body on Monday released a list of 30 players for camping in preparation for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

In a statement made available to Xinhua in Lagos, the country's economic hub, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said the invited players are expected to arrive at the Starview Hotel in Abuja on Tuesday, and that training would commence on Wednesday.

The list includes goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel, defenders Erhun Obanor and Stanley Dimgba.

The 2016 Olympics will hold in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from Aug. 5 to Aug. 21. Endit
