Dollar in lower 108 yen level in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 108 yen level early Monday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 108.29-32 yen compared with 108.03-13 yen in New York and 109.06-08 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.1402-1404 dollars and 123.48-49 yen against 1.1397-1407 dollars and 123.18-28 yen in New York and 1.1378-1380 dollars and 124.09-13 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Enditem
