Xinhua, April 6, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with a delegation led by Algeria's ruling National Liberation Front (FLN) Secretary General Amar Saadani on Wednesday.

Hailing the profound China-Algeria friendship, Li said bilateral relations have entered a new stage since the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership in 2014.

Li called on both sides to enhance political mutual trust, strategic communication and cultural exchanges as well as synergizing development strategies.

"The Communist Party of China (CPC) is ready to strengthen state governance exchanges and practical cooperation with Algeria," Li said.

Saadani said the two countries' traditional friendship is deeply rooted in the hearts of their people, and the two parties share similar experiences and governance concepts.

The FLN is willing to deepen party-to-party exchanges with the CPC and and boost practical cooperation between the two countries, Saadani said. Endi
