Xinjiang promotes ethnic unity

Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has decided to promote ethnic unity through "the year of ethnic unity."

A meeting on Monday underscored the contact, communication and integration among all ethnic groups and law-based governance.
