Morocco qualify to 2017 Africa Cup of Nations

Morocco qualified for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Cape Verde 2-0 late Tuesday.

Granada striker Youssef El Arabi scored twice in the 54th and 62nd minutes in the city of Marrakesh.

Morocco collected 12 points to be atop in Group F, while its main rival Cape Verde, the leading African team in the world rankings, on second with six points.

With two grounds remaining, Morocco has ensured the top place with advantage of head-to-head record against Cape Verde. Endit
