France sends condolences to Algeria over army helicopter crash

France sent condolences to Algerian authorities over a military helicopter crash that killed 12 people Sunday, French foreign ministry said Monday.

Paris also expressed its solidarity with the northern African country, the Quai d'Orsay said in a statement.

On Sunday, a helicopter crashed near Reggane, south of Algeria, leaving 12 military officers killed and two others injured. Endit
