Vietnam condemns bomb attack in Pakistan

Xinhua, March 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

Vietnam on Monday expressed its indignation at attacks against innocent civilians, especially a bomb blast in Pakistan on Sunday which killed at least 72 people and injured more than 300 others.

"Once again, we vehemently condemn terrorist attacks and strongly believe that terrorists will be strictly punished," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh said.

Vietnam would like to share the pain and losses that the Pakistani government, people and families of the victims have suffered, Binh said.

The blast, claimed by a Pakistani Taliban splinter group "Jamaat-ul-Ahrar," was carried out by a suicide bomber in a crowded public park in Pakistan's Lahore city Sunday night. Enditem
