Somali local forces killed 60 Al-Shabaab militants and arrested 38 others in central Somalia, Abdikarim Hussein Guled, head of Galmudug troops, said on Saturday.
Guled said the Al-Shabaab militants have suffered a big blow in the hands of Galmudug forces and he vowed to sustain the onslaught until the militants are eliminated from the entire state of Galmudug. (Somalia-Terrorism)

BRUSSELS -- The man in hat, who fled after the attack at the Brussels Zaventem airport, was identified as Faisal Cheffou, Belgian broadcaster RTBF reported on Saturday.

BRUSSELS -- One person was arrested early on Saturday after three explosions were heard on the outskirts of the Southeast Belgian city of Liege, L'Avenir newspaper reported.

NEW DELHI -- Two Indians, a nurse from the southern state of Kerala and her son, have been killed in a shell attack on their residence in war-torn Libya's Sabratha city, sources said on Saturday.
"The incident happened late Friday night when the shell landed in their apartment complex. The nurse, identified as Sunu, and her 18-month-old son, were killed on the spot while her husband Vipin survived as he was outside at the time," the sources said. (India-Libya-Victims)

OSAKA -- A small plane crashed at Yao Airport in Osaka Prefecture in western Japan on Saturday afternoon, leaving four people onboard the plane dead, press reports here said.
The accident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. local time (0730 GMT) when the "Mooney-type M20C" single-engine propeller plane carrying four people crashed and burnt down beside the runway at Yao Airport while attempting landing. (Japan-Plane-Crash)
