China's central and eastern regions to enjoy sunny weather

Xinhua, March 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

China's central and eastern regions will enjoy sunny weather over the coming three days, the country's meteorological authority said on Saturday.

Smog is expected in north and northeastern parts, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said in a statement on its website, but will not last long as a cold front is expected to arrive on Monday night.

The NMC also forecast dusty weather for northwest China from Saturday through Monday with sandstorms in Southern Xinjiang.

Average temperatures will be slightly higher than usual over the next 10 days. Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning should be alert for forest fires as the weather turns warm. Endi
