Over 200 Indians reach Delhi from Belgium

More than 200 Indians who got stranded in Belgium after Tuesday's blasts in Brussels reached the Indian capital early this morning.

The 214 passengers and 28 crew members arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the national capital around 5:30 a.m. (local time) by a flight of India's private airlines, Jet Airways.

"A big welcome to our guests! Flight 9W 1229 from Amsterdam has landed at Delhi," tweeted Jet Airways, which has its main European hub at Brussels and operates four flights from there.

However, two Indian crew members of Jet Airways who sustained injuries in the explosions at the Brussels airport are still recovering at a hospital there.

At least 31 people were killed and some 270 others injured in explosions at Brussels airport and at a Metro station of the Belgian capital Tuesday morning. Endit
