Dollar in upper 112 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 112 yen level early Friday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.84-85 yen compared with 112.85-95 yen in New York and 112.85-87 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1167-1168 dollars and 126.00-03 yen against 1.1168-1178 dollars and 126.10-20 yen in New York and 1.1160-1161 dollars and 125.94-98 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
