PLA to launch education on CPC values and army strengthening

Xinhua, March 25, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Central Military Commission (CMC) will launch a campaign to promote the values of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the spirit of a stronger army among the servicemen and women of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

The campaign will focus on the study of the Party's Constitution and rules, as well as remarks made by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping, according to a plan made public by the general office of the CMC on Thursday.

Party members in the PLA should always think and act in line with the CPC Central Committee's policies and guidelines. Meanwhile, they should work hard to serve the people and contribute to the army's combat effectiveness and disciplinary integrity, according to the plan.

The CMC asked all Party committees of the Army to regard the education campaign as "a major political task." Endi
