The document was inked by Albanian Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Administration Edmond Panariti and Kuwaiti official Ali Al-Omair.

In a joint press conference after the signing ceremony, Panariti invited Kuwaiti entrepreneurs to invest in the Albanian rural sector and confirmed Albania had requested Kuwaiti assistance in the cleanup of its drainage system.

Al-Omair stated: "Albania has great and special potential. We will provide machinery for the cleanup of drainage system and we will export Albanian potable water."

The cooperation between Albania and Kuwait in the field of agriculture will include the exchange of research and agricultural methods.

The projects are expected to boost scientific research, expertise and approaches to achieve agriculture development goals in both countries, as well as to raise funds. Endit
