Two Vietnamese teams enter semi-finals at volleyball internationals

Two Vietnamese teams entered the semi-finals of the VTV Binh Dien Cup International Women's Volleyball Championship in on Thursday.

LienVietPostbank and Vietinbank from Vietnam secured the top two positions of the Group B to advance, beating defending champion Democratic People's Republic of Korea's 4.25 Sports Club and China's Fujian.

The 10th VTV Binh Dien Cup kicked off on March 19 in Ninh Binh Province, some 90 km south of capital Hanoi, with the participation of eight teams from China, Malaysia and Thailand.

The eight teams are divided into two groups competing in round robin format, with top two teams of each group advancing.

VTV Binh Dien Long An of Vietnam and China's Jiangsu also qualified. Endit
