Spanish stock market falls 0.72 pct, closes at 8,927 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.72 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,927.10 points, down from the 8,992 points on Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 2.94 percent, followed by OHL, Repsol, Sacyr, Banco Santander and Bankia that lost 2.73 percent, 2.69 percent, 2.37 percent, 2.13 percent and 1.97 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Ferrovial shares led rises climbing 1.22 percent, followed by AENA, Grifols, Gas Natural, Amadeus, Inditex and Enagas that rose 0.97 percent, 0.87 percent, 0.54 percent, 0.33 percent, 0.33 percent, and 0.32 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 133 points on Wednesday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate at 1.4 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
