The following are the highlights of Zambia's major media outlets on Wednesday.

-- Zambia's President Edgar Lungu has vowed to protect the integrity of the Judiciary because of the confidence he has in the manner it is discharging its mandated responsibilities.

Lungu has since warned that he will not take lightly people trying to scandalize the judicial system in the country.

The Zambian leader was speaking during the swearing I of five Supreme Court judges. (TIMES OF ZAMBIA).

-- Zambia's Vice-President Inonge Wina said the government will soon introduce Chinese language training in the national curriculum to enhance cultural, economic and commercial exchanges between Zambia and China.

The Zambian vice-president, in remarks delivered when she officiated at the handover ceremony of a new Confucius Institute at the University of Zambia, said exchanges of positive cultural experiences was healthy for the future of the friendship and bilateral relations between the two countries. -- The Zambian government said it was putting in place stringent security measures to clamp down on criminal syndicates involved in illegal wildlife trade in the country.

Minister of Tourism and Arts Jean Kapata said the recent major criminal syndicates had been targeting elephants in the region, a situation which had not spared Zambia.(TIMES OF ZAMBIA)

-- The Zambian government has said it will continue prioritizing economic diversification through industrialization.
