Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel has canceled his visit to China in order to deal with emergency affairs in Belgium, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.

China expresses its understanding regarding the cancellation and will remain in communication with the Belgian side, spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a daily news briefing.
