Vietnamese police recover explosive material in capital blast case

Vietnamese police have found bomb making material involving Saturday's explosion, authorities said on Sunday.

E-portal of Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security said Hanoi police on Sunday reported the initial results of the investigation over Saturday's explosion here.

According to the initial report, authorities have collected pieces of cast iron and steel at the site, which later were defined as material used to make bombs.

On Saturday afternoon, the blast happening in a commercial area, killed four, including the suspect, and injured 10 others.

As many as 95 apartments in the area were impacted, of which 36 were heavily damaged.

A number of vehicles were also affected by the explosion. Enditem
