Dollar in upper 112 yen level in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 112 yen level early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.77-78 yen compared with 112.50-60 yen in New York and 113.64-65 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1215-1215 dollars and 126.46-47 yen against 1.1219-1229 dollars and 126.28-38 yen in New York and 1.1086-1088 dollars and 125.98-126.02 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Enditem
