Lavrov, Kerry discuss deepening coordination on Syrian crisis

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. State Secretary John Kerry discussed the need to deepen coordination between the two sides on the cessation of hostilities in Syria in a phone conversation on Wednesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"The two sides discussed the issue of deepening coordination, including in the military field, to secure Syria's cessation of hostilities, and to promote a political settlement through dialogue between the Syrian government and the opposition groups," the ministry said in an online statement.

The ministry also confirmed Kerry's visit to Moscow next week over a bunch of hot issues. Endit
