Finland's growth outlook falls further behind rest of eurozone: Nordea Bank

Finnish economic growth this year and next is expected to continue to lag behind other countries in the eurozone, Nordea Bank forecast in its economic outlook on Wednesday.
The bank said the Finnish economy finally managed to gain a modest growth of 0.4 percent in 2015, after three consecutive years of negative growth. It forecast Finland's gross domestic product (GDP) would remain stagnant, and the growth rate would be 0.5 percent this year and 0.7 percent in 2017.
Pasi Sorjonen, an economist at Nordea Bank, attributed last year's modest growth of Finland to a decline in imports and a "surprising" rise in household consumption.
The Bank pointed out that due to the delayed implementation of economic reforms in Finland, the economy would continue to lag behind the eurozone. Endit
