Belgium's terror threat level maintains at 3 out of 4: PM

Belgium's Coordinating Body for Threat Analysis (OCAM) has decided to keep the country's terrorist threat alert at level 3, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel announced on Wednesday.

Following a meeting of the National Security Council in Brussels, Michel said the level 3 alert would remain in place throughout the country.

Level 3 on a scale of 4 means a "possible and credible threat." The current deployment of police and military personnel on the streets will remain in place.

Michel stressed that the Belgian government was determined to remain fully mobilized and vigilant. Endit
