Rising terrorism requires well-thought collective response, says Islamic organ

Xinhua, March 14, 2016 Adjust font size:

An Islamic organization condemned on Monday the attack carried out by gunmen in Cote d'Ivoire, stressing the need for a well-thought collective response to terrorism.

More frequent terror attacks recently requires enhanced efforts for a well-thought collective response, using all means available, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization said in a statement.

The organization also affirmed the solidarity with Cote d'Ivoire in its actions aiming at protecting citizens and territorial integrity.

At least 16 civilians and two soldiers were killed in Sunday's attacks on three hotels in Cote d'Ivoire's Grand Bassam resort beach. Six attackers, claiming to belong to al-Qaida, were also killed. Endit
