"Zootopia" tops North American box office for second time

Disney's family-friendly hit "Zootopia" topped the box office of North America this week, marking the second week in a row in which the film has been occupying the first place since its release.
The Disney animated feature was on track to sell 50 million U.S. dollars in tickets by the close of business Sunday night, dropping only 33.4 percent compared with that of last weekend, according to studio figures gathered by comScore.
In two weeks, it has amassed 142.6 million dollars in receipts in the United States and Canada. Add in receipts from the rest of the world, Disney has banked 431 million dollars on "Zootopia."
A movie that was kept secret through its development and filming, "10 Cloverfield Lane" came in second, with 25.2 million dollars in sales for Paramount.
"Deadpool" was in third place, with a 10.8 million dollars weekend and 328.1 million dollars in sales over five weeks.
Rounding out the rest 10 most-popular movies this week were "London Has Fallen" (10.7 million dollars), "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" (4.6 million), "The Perfect Match" (4.2 million), "The Young Messiah" (3.4 million), "The Brothers Grimsby" (3.2 million), "Gods Of Egypt" (2.5 million) and "Risen" (2.3 million).
