No Singaporeans affected in Turkish terror attack: MFA

There are no reports of Singaporeans affected in the terror attack that hit the Turkish capital Ankara on Sunday for the second time in less than a month, killing at least 34 people and injuring 125 others, according to Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MFA) on Monday.

"Singapore strongly condemns the car bomb attack in central Ankara which has resulted in the loss of many lives with dozens more injured. We extend our condolences to the bereaved families and wish those injured a speedy recovery," MFA said in a statement.

The ministry also said that Embassy of Singapore in Ankara has contacted all registered Singaporeans in Ankara and ascertained their safety. Thus far, there are no reports of Singaporeans affected by the incident. Endit
