Urgent: China pardons about 31,000 prisoners in 2015

A total of 31,527 prisoners were released earlier, said a work report of the Supreme People's Court on Sunday.

The report will be delivered by Chief Justice Zhou Qiang at a plenary meeting of the ongoing session of the National People's Congress. It was distributed to the press ahead of the meeting. Endi
