China convicts 1.23 million criminals in 2015

A total of 1.23 million people were found guilty in 1.1 million criminal cases last year, a year-on-year increase of 4 percent, said a work report of the Supreme People's Court on Sunday.

The report will be delivered by Chief Justice Zhou Qiang at a plenary meeting of the ongoing session of the National People's Congress. It was distributed to the press ahead of the meeting. Endi
