Lakers inflict Warriors sixth defeat of the season

Jordan Clarkson scored 25 points, D'Angelo Russell added 21 as the Los Angeles Lakers stunned the Golden State Warriors 112-95 on Sunday.

It's just the sixth defeat of the season for the defending NBA champions, all on the road.

Kobe Bryant added 12 points in helping the Lakers earn one of the biggest upsets in NBA history and their biggest victory in a downtrodden farewell season for Bryant.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 18 points. Klay Thompson added 15 points but the Splash Brothers were a combined 1 of 18 from 3-point range. In all, the Warriors missed 26 of 30 attempts from long range.

The loss snapped Golden State's seven-game winning streak and was their first since a 32-point blowout defeat at Portland on Feb. 19.

Golden State fell to 55-6 and the Lakers improved to 13-51.

In Milwaukee, Kevin Durant had 32 points and 12 rebounds, Russell Westbrook posted his 10th triple-double of the season as Oklahoma City Thunder held off Milwaukee Bucks 104-96.

Westbrook finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the Thunder, who led by 21 with six minutes left in the third quarter before nearly getting overrun by the Bucks.

Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo picked up his third triple-double of the season with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

In Denver, D.J. Augustin scored Denver Nuggets' last eight points of overtime, including two free throws with 0.9 seconds left as the Nuggets beat Dallas Mavericks 116-114.

Augustin finished with 12 points to help the Nuggets avenge an overtime loss in Dallas on Feb. 26.

Kenneth Faried had 25 points and a season-high 20 rebounds for the Nuggets, who rallied from four down in the last 10 seconds of regulation. Will Barton added 20 points.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points and Deron Williams had 17 for the Mavericks, who have lost two straight.

In Auburn Hills of Michigan, Reggie Jackson scored 30 points in another big game against Portland as Detroit Pistons beat the Portland Trail Blazers 123-103.

Andre Drummond had 14 points and 18 rebounds for Detroit, and Marcus Morris added 19 points.

Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 26 points but shot 8 of 22 from the field.

In Memphis of Tennessee, Devin Booker had 27 points and nine assists, Alex Len added 19 points and 16 rebounds as Phoenix Suns beat Memphis Grizzlies 109-100.

Mirza Teletovic added 18 points for the Suns. Tyson Chandler finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds as Phoenix won for only the third time in the last 18 games. Two of those wins have come against the Grizzlies.

Mike Conley led Memphis with 22 points while Matt Barnes and JaMychal Green each had 17 points. Mario Chalmers scored 14 points and Lance Stephenson finished with 13.

In Miami, Hassan Whiteside had seven blocked shots, including a pivotal one late as Miami won their fifth in a row, beating Philadelphia 76ers 103-98.

Goran Dragic had 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists, and Dwyane Wade also had 23 points for the Heat. Whiteside had 14 points and 13 rebounds off the bench. Endit
