Spanish stock market rises 0.03 pct, closes at 8,767 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 rose 0.03 percent on Thursday to close at 8,767 points, up from the 8,764.50 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Sacyr shares led rises climbing 7.5 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Repsol and ArcelorMittal that rose 4.56 percent, 3.43 percent and 3.30 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Indra A shares led falls losing 2.76 percent, followed by IAG, Gamesa, Acerinox and Inditex that lost 2.62 percent, 1.32 percent and 1.11 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 137.40 points, slightly above the 135.4 points of Wednesday, when the leader of Spain's Socialist Party (PSOE) Pedro Sanchez was defeated in the first investiture vote in the Spanish Congress of Deputies.

He has another chance, but if nobody is able to form a government there will be general elections again in Spain. Enditem
