British FTSE 100 decreases 0.27 pct on Thursday

The FTSE 100 Index, Britain's benchmark stock market gauge decreased by 0.27 percent, or 16.60 points, to 6,130.46 points on Thursday.

The share price of Admiral Group spiked by 9.03 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Glencore, Rolls-Royce Holdings, Intertek Group and CRH increased by 5.61 percent, 5.29 percent, 5.10 percent and 4.59 percent respectively.

Persimmon led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 6.81 percent, followed by Whitbread (6.15 percent), HSBC Holdings (4.47 percent), Inmarsat (4.24 percent) and ITV (3.45 percent). Endit
