Croatia might deploy troops on border: minister

Croatia was considering to send its armed forces to border to help control migrant flows, Interior Minister Vlaho Orepic said on Tuesday.

He said neighboring Slovenia and Serbia have deployed troops on the borders, Croatia would have to follow suit taking the similar measure.

"We most probably do that, but we fully rely on our police forces," he said.

More than 650,000 migrants have passed through Croatia on their way towards western Europe. Endit
