Czech nominates David Cup squad

Czech tennis team captain Jaroslav Navratil announced on Tuesday the squad for the first round of the Davis Cup which to be played in Hannover, Germany on March 4-6.

Tomas Berdych, the world's No.7 player, leads the team including Radek Stepanek, Lukas Rosol and Jiri Vesely are.

Navratil welcomed the comeback of Berdych, who played last time in Davis Cup in September 2014 when Czech team lost to France in semifinal.

Berdych will be the No.1 player of Czech team in the singles, and he will play the doubles together with Stepanek. He played the Australian Open quarterfinal earlier this year.

Germany holds a 10-4 record against the Czech in Davis Cup. The winners of the matchup will face the winners between Canada and France in quarter-finals. Endit
