A Myanmar woman has been detained on suspicion of drug trafficking in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local police said Tuesday.

Police with Longchuan County said that they also confiscated 19 kg of opium from the woman, after a tip-off led to her detention on Sunday.

Further investigation is under way.
