Delegation of five Guinea Bissau parties to visit China

Xinhua, February 23, 2016 Adjust font size:

A delegation of five Guinea Bissau political parties will visit China between Feb. 28 to March 9, the country's Foreign Minister Artur Silva said Monday.

Silva said the five parties, which were invited by the Communist Party of China, would discuss relations between China and Guinea Bissau.

"China is an essential partner for Guinea Bissau," Silva said.

The delegation will be comprised of members from the five political parties represented in Parliament -- the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde, Social Renewal Party, Democratic Convergence Party, New Democracy Party and Union for Change Party.

The Guinea Bissau-China Friendship Association will also be part of the 14-member delegation. Endit
