Xinhua, February 23, 2016 Adjust font size:

A cold front will linger in north China and most areas of south China will continue to see rain, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Tuesday.

The center forecast that a mild cold front will continue to hit north China, and areas along the Yellow and Huaihe rivers over the next two days, bringing strong winds. Temperatures could drop by as much as six degrees Celsius.

The wind will also bring sand and dust to Xinjiang and parts of northwest China on Wednesday and Thursday.

The NMC also said that rain will hit parts of south China, as well as areas to the south of the Yangtze River from Tuesday to Friday.

Torrential rain and even snow will hit some areas of Yunnan Province on Wednesday and Thursday. Snow and sleet will sweep parts of Tibet and Sichuan in the coming two days. Endi
