Macedonian diplomas recognized in Europe

Xinhua, February 23, 2016 Adjust font size:

Macedonian Ministry of Education and Science informed on Monday that Macedonian diplomas and qualifications acquired in every degree in the educational process will have its equivalents in the EU qualifications.

Macedonian Deputy Education Minister Spiro Ristovski declared on a news conference that "the alignment allows diplomas issued in Macedonia to be recognized in Europe, guaranteeing that the qualification is comparative, i.e. that it exists in the European Qualifications Framework."

"Every qualification acquired in educational institutions in Macedonia will be recognized by European institutions and companies. This means that the process of recognizing domestic qualifications abroad and vice versa is alleviated, which will further improve mobility on the labor market, mobility of students, pupils and their teachers," added Ristovski.

A Macedonian Qualifications Framework was adopted in 2013 with a national board for its application being set up in 2015. Enditem
