Six members of a family were killed as a roadside bomb struck a vehicle in the eastern Paktika province on Friday, Interior Ministry said in a statement released here on Saturday.

The deadly incident, according to the statement, took place in Waza Khowah district of Paktika province at 02:00 p.m. local time, killing six occupants of the vehicle including four children on the spot.
