India and Nepal signed nine MoUs covering a range of fields including energy. transport and transit cooperation on Saturday, said officials.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Nepalese Prime Minister Sharma Oli attended the signing ceremony following their talks.

The two leaders discussed all aspects of the bilateral relationship, particularly the political situation in Nepal, according to officials. Endit
