U.S. stocks surged for a third straight session Wednesday, as Wall Street assessed the Federal Reserve's minutes and spiking oil amid mixed data.

The Dow jumped 1.59 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 1.65 percent, while the Nasdaq leapt 2.21 percent. Endit
