British FTSE 100 rises 2.04 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday rose by 2.04 percent, or 116.68 points, to 5,824.28 points.

Share price of Reckitt Benckiser Group increased by 6.79 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Standard Chartered, International Consolidated Airlines Group, Anglo American and Hammerson increased by 5.61 percent, 5.15 percent, 5.11 percent and 4.58 percent respectively.

Fresnillo led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.62 percent, followed by Randgold Resources (2.03 percent), Berkeley Group Holdings (0.63 percent), BHP Billiton (0.43 percent) and SABMiller (0.24 percent). Endit
