Croatia supports Bosnia's EU membership application: president

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Monday welcomed Bosnia and Herzegovina(BiH)'s application for membership to the European Union (EU).

Croatia would support BiH in its way of EU access and would continue transferring Croatia's experience to it, she said in a congratulatory massage.

"Being your sincere friend and advocate inside the EU, Croatia is a committed proponent of the process of the European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina," she said.

Earlier on Monday, Dragan Covic, the chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, submitted his country's application for EU membership to Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders, whose country is currently chairing the EU. Endit
