British FTSE 100 rises 3.08 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 3.08 percent, or 170.63 points, to 5,707.60 points.

Share price of Anglo American increased by 18.36 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Rolls-Royce Holdings, Glencore, Antofagasta and Standard Chartered increased by 14.34 percent, 12.29 percent, 11.25 percent and 10.95 percent, respectively.

Tesco led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.45 percent, followed by Hikma Pharmaceuticals (1.33 percent), Imperial Brands (0.95 percent), BT Group (0.49 percent) and TUI (0.10 percent). Enditem
