Spanish stock market rises 2.25 pct on Friday

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.25 percent on Friday to close at 7,920.80 points, up from the 7,746.30 points of Thursday.

Share values went down 6.8 percent in the week, with the risk premium falling from the 153.30 points on Monday to the 147.80 points on Friday. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.74 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Monday.

On Friday's session, Acerinox shares led rises by climbing 13.42 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Repsol, Banco Santander, BBVA and Caixabank that rose 8.16 percent, 6.72 percent, 5.20 percent, 4.98 percent and 3.99 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Enagas shares led falls by losing 1.04 percent, followed by Abertis A, Iberdrola, OHL, R.E.C. and Grifols that lost 0.88 percent, 0.81 percent, 0.74 percent, 0.26 percent and 0.17 percent, respectively. Enditem
