Belarus condemns DPRK's violation of int'l law

Belarusian Foreign Ministry said the actions taken by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to launch a carrier rocket violate a number of international law norms and resolutions of the UN Security Council.

Belarus is convinced that genuine and lasting peace as well as stability on the regional and international scale can be achieved only through a mutual constructive dialogue, the Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Bearing this in mind, Belarus calls to avoid any actions that escalate tensions in the Korean peninsula, pose a threat to peace, regional and international security, said the statement. Endit
