1st LD Writethru: 5 police women trapped as building collapses at railway station in S. India

At least five people were trapped in debris as a building, which housed a police station and parcel office inside a railway station collapsed at Hubli in the southern Indian state of Karnataka Monday afternoon, said local TV channel India Today.

The trapped were women constables working there, according to the report.

Rescue teams with heavy equipment have reached the spot and efforts are on to rescue people from under the rubble. Endit
