Namibia to square off against England in World Cup

The Namibian U19 Cricket team will face England on Wednesday in the play-off for place 5 - 8 after being defeated by India in the Quarterfinal on Saturday.

India will now progress to the semi-finals, while Namibia got eliminated from the tournament in Bangladesh, where they had impressed by winning against Scotland as well as defending champions South Africa in the group phase.

Namibia's U19 Cricket team faced an in form India in the quarter final, but could not chase down the mammoth runs of 349 set by India and lost the match by by 197 runs.

Namibia will now face England, who also lost in their quarterfinal encounter against Sri Lanka. The two will lock horns at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Bangladesh on Wednesday. Enditem
