Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks plunged on Tuesday tracking weak cues from Asian as well as European markets and weighed down by a fresh slide in crude oil prices.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 24,539.00, 285.83 points or 1.15 percent down from previous close of 24,824.83, with a turnover of 466.68 crore rupees (about 68.8 million US dollars). Endit
