Aenis Ben-Hatira and Yanni Regaesel have joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Hertha Berlin, both Bundesliga teams confirmed on Monday.
Tunisia international Ben-Hatira has voided his contract with Berlin and joined the "Eagles" until the end of the season while youngster Regaesel penned a deal until June 2019.
Ben-Hatira made overall 81 Bundesliga appearances, for Hamburg and Berlin, to score 13 goals. He is in addition since 2012 part of Tunisia's national team where he made eight caps. The 27-year-old midfielder received the jersey no. 27.
"He is an experienced and variable midfielder, who prefers to play of the left wing. With his signing we have another alternative for our offence," Frankfurt's sporting director Bruno Huebner said.
The "Eagles" signed with Regaesel another player from Hertha Berlin. The 20-year-old defender made his Bundesliga debut this season to make six appearances so far. The new arrival received the jersey no. 2.
"The commitment of a talented right-back was planned for the next season. As a consequence, Yanni has enough time to settle and integrate here," Huebner said.
Frankfurt occupy the 13th position of the Bundesliga standings. They host Stuttgart at the 20th round on Feb. 6. Endit
