Besiktas Istanbul's Alexander Milosevic joins Hannover on loan

Alexander Milosevic joined the "Reds" until the end of the season, Hannover announced at the last day of the transfer period on Monday.

The 24-year-old defender received the jersey no. 24 after putting pen to paper on a loan deal until June 2016.

"We have followed Alexander's path intensively and are glad that he joins us now. His physical presence on the pitch will do us good," Hannover coach Thomas Schaaf told the club's official homepage.

"The Bundesliga and Hannover will be a great challenge for me. I want to prove myself here and to ensure that Hannover keep their top-flight status. I am aware, that this wont be an easy task but that why it is so incredibly attractive to me," Milosevic said.

Hannover's new arrival lifted with Sweden's Under-21 national team the UEFA Euro 2015 title in the Czech Republic.

His new team sit on the bottom of the Bundesliga standings. The "Reds" see Mainz at the 20th round on Feb. 6. Endit
