Hamburg sign Swedish striker Nabil Bahoui

Xinhua, February 2, 2016 Adjust font size:

Hamburg strengthen their offence with the signing of Nabil Bahoui, hours ahead of the transfer deadline on Monday.

Former Al-Ahli Saudi FC striker Bahoui joined Hamburg on a free transfer until June 2018.

"Nabil is a technically skilled player who looks for one-on-one situations on the wings. He is a threat for any goalkeeper," Hamburg's sporting director Peter Knaebel said.

Bahoui spent his most successful time with Swedish outfit AIK Fotboll where he provided from 2013 until 2015, 26 goals in 64 appearances.

Hamburg sit on the 11th place of the Bundesliga standings. They host Cologne at the 20th round on Feb. 7. Endit
